US Lacrosse Convention

The US Lacrosse Convention (also known as LaxCon) is the organization’s largest event of the year, drawing thousands of coaches and officials who are eager to further their lacrosse education (and fans who are eager to check out new gear!) I establish the visual theme design behind the entire event, ranging from the logo, marketing materials, magazine advertisements and social graphics to large-scale event signage and décor.

Shown here: US Lacrosse’s Baltimore convention. Besides being aesthetically pleasing, the main goal was to ensure the design was simple and flexible enough to be used across numerous platforms.

LaxCon Program

The annual convention program is great quick reference guide that easily slips into your pocket. It has an easy-to-read schedule broken down by day and track, as well as lists of exhibitors and were to find them, maps, and featured sponsors. It also has a monopoly-themed game board in the middles that gives fan fest attendees a chance to win prizes.

LaxCon App

Created together with USL's marketing/event team and Crowd Compass, LaxCon's official app launched this year (2018) and is a total game-changer for the event. It offers everything the program does, as well as easy-access to social feeds, schedule updates, surverys and other attendees and presenters.

Fan Fest T-Shirts

Fan Fest is a large part of convention, drawing thousands of attendess for a single day of fun geared mainly toward youth. It features the latest in lacrosse gear, uniforms and swag from 150 exhibitors in the sport’s largest expo hall, plus demonstrations and autographs from members of Team USA.
